Cantuaria dunedinensis
Cantuaria dunedinensis is a species of trapdoor spider endemic to New Zealand.[1] TaxonomyThis species was described in 1968 by Ray Forster from a single female specimen collected in Dunedin. The holotype is stored at Otago Museum.[1] DescriptionThe female has been recorded at 20.3mm in length. The carapace and legs are orange brown. The abdomen has brown dorsally.[1] DistributionThis species is only known from Dunedin in New Zealand.[1] Conservation statusUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as Data Deficient with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size", "Data Poor: Trend", "One Location".[2] References
