The Cangahua Formation is a Late Pleistocene (Lujanian in the SALMA classification) geologic formation of the Pichincha Province in north-central Ecuador.[1]

The formation has provided insect fossils of:[2]

• Coprinisphaera ecuadoriensis
• Phanaeus violetae
