Bud Swartz
Sherwin Merle "Bud" Swartz (June 13, 1929 – June 24, 1991) was an American Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the St. Louis Browns in 1947. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was Jewish.[1] He attended University High School in Los Angeles, California.[2] A single in his only at-bat at 18 years of age left Swartz with a rare major league career batting average of 1.000.[3] He pitched in five games, and gave up four earned runs in 5+1⁄3 innings.[2] References
