Briggsdale is an unincorporated town, a post office, and a census-designated place (CDP) located in and governed by Weld County, Colorado, United States. The CDP is a part of the Greeley, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Briggsdale post office has the ZIP Code 80611.[6] At the United States Census 2020, the population of the Briggsdale CDP was 134.[5]

History

Briggsdale was established in 1909.[2] The town was named for Frank N. Briggs, a farmer and one of the founders.[2] The Briggsdale, Colorado, post office opened on August 1, 1910.[7]

Briggsdale is located at coordinates 40°38′05″N 104°19′37″W / 40.6347°N 104.3269°W / 40.6347; -104.3269 (Briggsdale, Colorado).[1]
