Boyneside is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Boyneside had a population of 67 people.[1] GeographyThe Bunya Highway enters the locality from the south (Cooranga) and exits to the east (Mannuem / Kumbia).[3] HistoryBoyneside Provisional School opened on 1927. It became Boyneside State School in 1929. It closed in 1969.[4] It was on the north-western side of a bend in the Bunya Highway near its junction with Nords Road (approx 26°43′31″S 151°31′59″E / 26.72538°S 151.53306°E).[5][6] DemographicsIn the 2016 census, Boyneside had a population of 58 people.[7] In the 2021 census, Boyneside had a population of 67 people.[1] EducationThere are no schools in Boyneside.
