Bonde das Maravilhas
Bonde das Maravilhas is a Brazilian group of funk carioca created in 2011 in Niterói.[1] The group achieved national recognition with the songs "Quadradinho de Oito" and "Aquecimento das Maravilhas".[2][3] HistoryIn mid-2011, five teenagers (Joyce, Karoline, Thaysa, Rafaela and Thalia) from the Complexo do Serrão community in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro,[4] created a dance group dedicated to homemade videos of funk carioca uploaded to the YouTube platform. . Shortly after the announcements, the group gained local notoriety for daring choreography and partnerships with funk artists from the region. The so-called "Bonde das Maravilhas.[5]
