Berrya cordifolia
Berrya cordifolia, the Trincomalee wood,[2] is a species of tree native to much of tropical Asia[3] and introduced to Africa.[4] It is also found in the forests of Christmas Island.[5] It is widely used for timber,[3] and its bark is used for fibers.[4] The wood has a number of uses, including furniture and historical applications in shipbuilding.
