Aramis Knight (born October 3, 1999)[ 1] is an American film and television actor. His credits include Boston Legal (2005), Rendition (2007), Dexter (2008), Crossing Over (2009), Lost (2010), The Middle (2010), Psych (2011), NCIS (2011), and Scorpion (2015), Into the Badlands (2015–2019), Runt (2019), Ms. Marvel (2022), and Centurion: The Dancing Stallion (2023).
Early life
Knight was born on October 3, 1999, in Los Angeles, California,[ 1] and grew up in Woodland Hills .[ 2] His father is of Pakistani descent, while his mother Rhonda Knight is of English , Irish and German descent.[ 3] [better source needed ]
Career
In 2005, Boston Legal (2005).[ 1] Dexter (2008),[ 4] Lost (2010),[ 4] The Middle (2010),[ 4] Psych (2011),[ 4] NCIS (2011),[ 4] and Scorpion (2015),[ 5] His film roles have included and Rendition (2007), Crossing Over (2009),[ 6] Knight portrayed Bean , the best friend of main character Ender Wiggin, in the science fiction/fantasy film Ender's Game (2013).[ 7] [ 8]
Knight has also done voice acting for multiple projects, including Shrek Forever After and Happy Feet Two .[ 2]
From 2015 to 2019, Knight played the lead role of M.K., "a boy with unexplained magic powers",[ 9] in Into the Badlands (2015–2019).[ 10] [ 11] Into the Badlands is an AMC television series described as "a high-octane sci-fi martial arts series"[ 9] and as a "post-apocalyptic drama".[citation needed ] Knight, along with other cast members, received several weeks of martial arts training for their roles.[ 12]
