- Associative algebra, a module equipped with an associative bilinear vector product
- Superalgebra, a $\mathbb {Z} _{2}$ -graded algebra
- Lie algebras, Poisson algebras, and Jordan algebras, important examples of (potentially) nonassociative algebras
In functional analysis:
