Albert Sánchez Piñol (Catalan pronunciation: [əlˈβɛrt ˈsaɲtʃəθ piˈɲɔl]; born 11 July 1965) is a Spanish anthropologist, non-fiction writer and novelist writing in Catalan and Spanish.

He has been described as a "significant European writer".[1][2][3]
