Ahua vulgaris
Ahua vulgaris is a species of Agelenidae that is endemic to New Zealand.[1] TaxonomyThis species was described in 1973 by Ray Forster and Cecil Wilton from male and female specimens. The holotype is stored in Canterbury Museum.[1] DescriptionThe male is recorded at 1.50mm in length whereas the female is 1.56mm.[1] DistributionThis species is only known from Canterbury, New Zealand.[1] Conservation statusUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size" and "Data Poor: Trend".[2] References
