Ahua kaituna
Ahua kaituna is a species of Agelenidae that is endemic to New Zealand.[1] TaxonomyThis species was described in 1973 by Ray Forster and Cecil Wilton from female specimens. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1] DescriptionThe female is recorded at 2.1mm in length. The carapace is coloured pale yellow brown. The legs are yellow brown. The abdomen is creamy with black markings.[1] DistributionThis species is only known from Canterbury, New Zealand.[1] Conservation statusUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size" and "Data Poor: Trend".[2] References
