2025 Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union
The 2025 Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union is the first in a trio of rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union positions currently held by Poland. Poland's Presidency of the Council in 2025 is the first nation in the thirteenth trio of Council Presidencies together with Denmark and Cyprus, which will last until 1 July 2026. It is Poland's second Presidency of the council, after its first in 2011. Poland succeeded Hungary as president on 1 January 2025.
