2024–25 West Georgia Wolves men's basketball team American college basketball season
The 2024–25 West Georgia Wolves men's basketball team represents the University of West Georgia during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season . The Wolves, led by seventh-year head coach Dave Moore, play their home games at The Coliseum in Carrollton, Georgia as first-year members of the Atlantic Sun Conference .
This season will mark West Georgia's first year of a four-year transition period from Division II to Division I . As a result, the Wolves are currently not eligible to participate in the NCAA tournament until the 2028–29 season.[ 1] [ 2]
Previous season
The Wolves finished the 2023–24 season 27–6, 19–5 in GSC play to finish as Gulf South Conference regular season champions.[ 3] Union ,[ 4] West Alabama ,[ 5] Alabama–Huntsville to win the GSC tournament and earn the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA DII tournament .[ 6] [ 7] Lee in the first round,[ 8] Florida Southern in the regional semifinals.[ 9]
