The 2024–25 Singapore Cup will be the 25th edition of the Singapore Cup, Singapore's annual premier club football knock-out tournament organised by the Football Association of Singapore. [1]

Lion City Sailors is the defending champions, having won the tournament in 2023 after defeating defending champions Hougang United 3–2 in the final to win the Singapore Cup.

Former champions BG Pathum United will join to battle for the Singapore Cup.[2][3] This is the 3rd time they will play in the competition after last appearing in 2009 and 2010.

Format

Competition

The 2024–25 Singapore Cup began on 1 February 2025 with a group stage consisting of two groups of 5 teams/ The top 2 teams from each group advanced to the semifinals. In the semifinals, the first-place team from Group A played the second-place team from Group B, and the first-place team from Group B played the second-place team from Group A. The winners of the semifinals advanced to the final.[4][5]

BG Pathum United will host Geylang International and Lion City Sailors at the Jalan Besar Stadium as a neutral ground.

Groups

The group-stage matches will run from 1 February 2025 to 31 March 2025, with the top two teams from each group proceeding to a two-legged semi-final stage.
