The 2024–25 President's Trophy is a first-class domestic cricket competition in Pakistan, played from January to April 2025.[1][2] It is being contested by nine departmental teams, across four venues in Karachi. In January 2025, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the fixtures for the tournament.[3]

Teams

Nine teams are playing in the tournament:[4]

The seven teams that contested the 2023–24 tournament have been joined by Eshaal Associates and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, two teams new to first-class cricket.

Competition format

The nine departmental teams play each other in a round-robin format, therefore playing eight matches each. The tournament consists of 37 matches: nine rounds of four matches each, followed by a final between the top two teams. The bottom two teams will be relegated to the President's Trophy Grade-II tournament.[5]
