American college football season
The 2023 Dakota State Trojans football team represented Dakota State University as a member of the North Star Athletic Association during the 2023 NAIA football season . The Trojans were led by 15th year head coach Josh Anderson [ 1] . They played their home games at the Dan Beacom Track Complex [ 2] in Madison , South Dakota . They finished the season with a 1–9 record (1–7) and finished 5th in the conference standings[ 3] [ 4]
Dan Beacom Track Complex
The 2023 season would mark the first and only season that the Trojans would play at the Dan Beacom Track Complex . The Trojans would lose the inaugural game against Wisconsin–La Crosse by a score of 6–31.[ 5]
