The men's 100 metre butterfly competition at the 2002 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships took place on August 28–29 at the Yokohama International Swimming Pool.[1][2] The last champion was Michael Klim of Australia.[3]

This race consisted of two lengths of the pool, all in butterfly.[4]
