The 1995 Sandown 500 was an endurance race for 5.0 Litre Touring Cars complying with CAMSGroup 3A regulations. The event was staged at the Sandown circuit in Victoria, Australia on 3 September 1995.[1] Race distance was 161 laps of the 3.10 km circuit,[1] totalling 499 km. It was the 30th "Sandown 500".

^The Auto Action Entry List has Poole & Ordynski in a VP Commodore and the Australian Motor Racing Year Results has them in a VR Commodore. A 2013 article at www.supercars.com indicates that the car was "built in 1993 as a VP model Commodore" and "was updated to VR spec in 1996"
