The 1973 Federation Cup was the 11th edition of the most important competition between national teams in women's tennis. 30 nations participated in the tournament, which was held at the Bad Homburg Tennis Club in Bad Homburg , West Germany from 30 April–6 May. Australia defeated South Africa in the final, winning the title without losing a rubber.[ 1]
