الميل هوا المكافئ الفلكى لخط العرض و بيتقس بقيمة الزاويه بين أى جسم سماوى و خط الاستوا السماوى. لو كان النجم شمال خط الاستوا السماوى تكون قيمة بعده بالموجب (+) و لو النجم جنوب خط الاستوا السماوى تكون قيمة بعده بالسالب (-).
