Tess of the d'Urbervilles: A Pure Woman Faithfully Presented adalah sebuah novel karya Thomas Hardy. Novel tersebut awalnya ditampilkan dalam versi yang serialisasi dan disensor, yang diterbitkan oleh surat kabar bergambar Britania Raya The Graphic pada 1891[1] dan dalam bentuk buku pada 1892. Meskipun sekarang dianggap merupakan novel Inggris besar abad kesembilan belas dan mungkin adikarya fiksi Hardy,[2]Tess of the d'Urbervilles meraih ulasan campuran saat pertama kali muncul, sebagian karena tantangan moral seksual dari akhir Inggris Victorian.
