Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, 6th Baronet

Mayor Sir Henry Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher, 6th Baronet, CVO, DSO (10 September 1887 – 30 Mei 1969), yang juga dikenal dengan nama penanya Henry Wade, adalah Kepala Letnan Buckinghamshire dari 1954 sampai 1961.^[1]

Aubrey-Fletcher adalah putra tunggal dan anak kedua dari pasangan Sir Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher, 5th Baronet dan Emily Harriet Wade, meskipun ayahnya telah memiliki putra lainnya pada pernikahan sebelumnya, namun anak tersebut wafat saat bayi. Ia dididik di Eton College dan New College, Oxford.^[1]

Ia bertarung dalam Perang Dunia Pertama dan Perang Dunia Kedua dengan Grenadier Guards, dianugerahi Distinguished Service Order^[2] dan Croix de guerre dari Prancis^[3] pada 1917. Ia adalah anggota Buckinghamshire County Council dan diangkat menjadi High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire pada 1925.^[1] Ia menjadi pemain kriket antara 1921 dan 1928 untuk Buckinghamshire.^[4]

Di bawah nama pena Henry Wade, ia juga menjadi penulis misteri terkenal dan salah satu anggota pendiri Detection Club.^[5]

Ia menikahi Mary Augusta Chilton pada 1911 dan memiliki 5 anak:^[1]
