Orang kulit berwarna

Istilah "orang kulit berwarna" (bahasa Inggris: person of color, people of color, persons of color; terkadang disingkat POC)^[1] utamanya dipakai di Amerika Serikat untuk menyebut orang manapun yang bukan orang kulit putih. Istilah tersebut meliputi seluruh orang non-kulit putih, terutama dalam hal rasisme sistemik.^[2]^[3] Istilah tersebut juga dipakai dengan kategori suku bangsa kolektif lainnya seperti "komunitas kulit berwarna", "pria kulit berwarna", dan "wanita kulit berwarna".^[4] Orang kulit berwarna awalnya setara dengan penggunaan istilah "colored", tetapi pemakaian sebutan "colored" di Amerika Selatan secara bertahap ditolak untuk "negro".^[5]
