Lenyai , Lena , Rena , Reno , atau Leunyai [ 1] (Geophilus ) adalah genus kelabang yang beragam dan heterogen dalam famili Geophilidae [ 2] [ 3] yang sebagian besar spesiesnya dianggap sebagai sinonim dari genus Brachygeophilus .[ 4] Genus kelabang ini merupakan penghuni kawasan holarktika yang dicirikan dengan pretarsus pamungkas berbentuk cakar, bidang pori anterior, jahitan coxo-pleura lengkap atau hampir lengkap di prosternumnya, dan garis kitin yang tidak lengkap.[ 5] Panjang kelabang dalam genus ini berkisar antara 1 hingga 8 cm.[ 6] Nama generiknya pertama kali muncul di Edinburgh Encyclopaedia Brewster pada tahun 1814 sebagai Geophilus electricus .[ 7]
Kelabang dalam genus ini dapat memiliki kaki hingga sebanyak 89 pasang, namun sebagian besar spesiesnya memiliki jumlah pasangan kaki yang jauh lebih sedikit dari itu.[ 3] . Kelabang ini juga memiliki ciri khas yakni dapat mengeluarkan cairan hijau yang dapat menyala di kegelapan ketika sedang terancam.[ 1]
