Lenyai , Lena , Rena , Reno , atau Leunyai [ 1] Geophilus kelabang yang beragam dan heterogen dalam famili Geophilidae [ 2] [ 3] Brachygeophilus [ 4] holarktika yang dicirikan dengan pretarsus pamungkas berbentuk cakar, bidang pori anterior, jahitan coxo-pleura lengkap atau hampir lengkap di prosternumnya, dan garis kitin yang tidak lengkap.[ 5] [ 6] Geophilus electricus [ 7]
Kelabang dalam genus ini dapat memiliki kaki hingga sebanyak 89 pasang, namun sebagian besar spesiesnya memiliki jumlah pasangan kaki yang jauh lebih sedikit dari itu.[ 3] [ 1]
