Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance adalah sebuah memoar karya Barack Obama. Buku ini diterbitkan bulan Juli 1995 menjelang peresmian kampanye Obama sebagai senator Illinois,[1] lima tahun setelah terpilih sebagai presiden Harvard Law Review pertama dari ras Afrika-Amerika pada tahun 1990.[2] Buku ini membahas sejarah kehidupannya sampai masa kuliahnya di Harvard Law School.
Selain anggota keluarga dan sejumlah tokoh politik, Barack Obama dalam kata pengantarnya mengaku memakai nama samaran karena alasan privasi dan menciptakan tokoh komposit untuk menyesuaikan alur narasinya.[4] Sejumlah rekan Obama mengaku sebagai tokoh yang dideskripsikan dalam buku ini.
