Ba‘alat Gebal

Ba‘alat Gebal, 'Bunda Byblos', adalah dewi kota Byblos, Phoenicia pada zaman kuno. Ia terkadang dikenal oleh bangsa Yunani dengan sebutan Baaltis atau Atargatis.^[1]^[2]

Ba‘alat Gebal umumnya diidentifikasi dengan dewi pan-Semitik ‘Ashtart (Astarte) dan, seperti ‘Ashtart, disetarakan dengan dewi Yunani Aphrodite.
