Background: Coronary heart disease is the number one killer in the worldand is a modern epidemic that can not be avoided by a factor of aging,Objective: To determine the quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease from the physicaldimension, psychological, social, environment and overall quality of life, and to know the relationshipbetween the characteristics (age, sex, religion, education, occupation, marital status, source offunding, duration underwent treatment, monthly income) in the Polyclinic Hospital Cardiac Banyumas.Methods: This type of research is a descriptive cross sectional analytic methods and by the number of 104samples taken in purposive sampling, which is seeking treatment at the outpatient clinic Banyumas HeartHospital. Data collection instrument using the WHOQOL-BREF kuisioer that have been modified, contains 26question items.The results: The quality of life as a whole gained 97 (93.3%) respondents have a quality of life is, 5 (4.8%)high and contained 2 (1.9%) of respondents who have a lower quality of life. There is a significant relationshipbetween job with the overall quality of life (p value = 0.003).Conclusion: Quality of Life according to expectations and perceptions become one of the outcomes of healthbehaviors that can make a person more valuable in the process of life.Key words: Quality of life, Coronary heart disease, WHOQOL-BREF.
