Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan metakognitif siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi asam basa. Sasaran penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA-1 SMAN 1 Pacet sebanyak 35 siswa. Penelitian berlangsung selama tiga kali pertemuan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah “One Shot Case Study”. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes berupa soal berbasis keterampilan metakognitif dan angket berupa angket inventori metakognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai keterampilan metakognitif siswa berdasarkan tes berbasis keterampilan metakognitif pada planning skills pada pertemuan 1, 2 dan 3 berturut-turut adalah 83,93; 86,25; 88,39 sedangkan pada monitoring skills diperoleh nilai 86,79; 90,00; 92,86 dan pada evaluating skills diperoleh nilai 78,93; 82,32; 82,68. Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil rata-rata nilai angket inventori metakognitif yang diberikan pada pertemuan 1, 2 dan 3 yaitu pada tahap planning skills diperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 81,53; 83,67; 84,90 sedangkan pada monitoring skills diperoleh nilai 82,14; 84,80; 85,92 dan pada evaluating skills diperoleh nilai 76,67; 82,02; 83,57. Secara keseluruhan, keterampilan metakognitif siswa dapat dikatakan terlatih dengan sangat baik. Kata Kunci: keterampilan metakognitif, inkuiri, dan asam basa. The aim of this study is to know metacognitive skills student after implementation of inquiry modelsat acid base matter. The subjects were students of XI Science-1 grade SMAN 1 Pacet as many as 35 students. The study lasted for three meeting. This research is use “One Shot Case Study”. Data collection methods used is metacognitive skills test and metacognitive awareness inventory queationnaire. The results showed that metacognitive skills value based on metacognitive skills matter at planning skills in 1st, 2nd and 3rd meeting is 83,93; 82,95; 88,39 at monitoring skills has value 86,79; 90,00; 92,86 and at evaluating skills has value 78,93; 82,32; 82,68. This result agree with an average of metacognitive awarness inventory that given to students in 1st, 2nd and 3rd meeting at planning skills is 81,53; 83,67; 84,90 at monitoring skills has value 82,14; 84,80; 85,92 and at evaluating skills has value 76,67; 82,02; 83,57. Generally, metacognitive skills student at very good level. Keywords: metacognitive skills, inquiry, acid base.
