Kickapoo Site 7 is a census-designated place (CDP) in Brown County, Kansas, United States, on the Kickapoo Indian Reservation.[1] As of the 2020 census, the population was 104.[2] GeographyKickapoo Site 7 is located in southwest Brown County near the center of the Kickapoo Reservation. The 2020 United States census counted 104 people, 25 households, and 15 families in Kickapoo Site 7.[4][5] The population density was 205.1 per square mile (79.2/km2). There were 29 housing units at an average density of 57.2 per square mile (22.1/km2).[5][6] The racial makeup was 2.88% (3) white or European American (2.88% non-Hispanic white), 0.0% (0) black or African-American, 91.35% (95) Native American or Alaska Native, 0.0% (0) Asian, 0.0% (0) Pacific Islander or Native Hawaiian, 0.0% (0) from other races, and 5.77% (6) from two or more races.[7] Hispanic or Latino of any race was 12.5% (13) of the population.[8] Of the 25 households, 44.0% had children under the age of 18; 28.0% were married couples living together; 36.0% had a female householder with no spouse or partner present. 40.0% of households consisted of individuals and 20.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.[5] The average household size was 2.3 and the average family size was 3.0.[9] The percent of those with a bachelor's degree or higher was estimated to be 0.0% of the population.[10] 49.0% of the population was under the age of 18, 4.8% from 18 to 24, 22.1% from 25 to 44, 23.1% from 45 to 64, and 1.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 22.5 years. For every 100 females, there were 60.0 males.[5] For every 100 females ages 18 and older, there were 43.2 males.[5] The 2016-2020 5-year American Community Survey estimates show that the median household income was $14,107 (with a margin of error of +/- $11,045).[11] Males had a median income of $14,643 (+/- $12,497).
