Fajr nafl prayer (Arabic: رَغِيبَةُ الْفَجْرِ ; dawn supererogatory prayer) is an Islamicprayer (salat) that is performed after the second adhan of dawn and before Fajr (dawn-time prayer).[1][2]
Presentation
The optional dawn prayer is a pair of rakats which are offered to God just before performing the obligatory Fajr prayer which is fard.[3][4]
This nafilah is considered by Muslim jurists (fuqaha) to be a confirmed Sunnah [ar], and it represents the beginning of the daytime prayers of the Muslim day, while the Witr is the closing of the nighttime prayers just after the Chafa'a prayer.[5][6]
This optional prayer performed before the obligatory dawn prayer is classified as a confirmed Sunnah according to Islamic law, is made of two rakates before the Fajr prayer are sealed with one taslim, and Muhammad performed them and advised his companions (Sahaba) to.[9][10]
