Winfried Georg Sebald (18 Mei 1944 – 14 Desember 2001), juga dikenal sebagai W. G. Sebald atau Max Sebald, adalah seorang penulis dan akademisi Jerman. Pada masa kematiannya dalam usia 57 tahun, ia disebut oleh para kritikus sastra sebagai salah satu pengarang terbesar pada saat masih hidup.[1]
